Helen is a contemporary abstract artist who recently relocated from London to the stunning South Downs in Hampshire. After 25 years in television, she swapped the bright lights of the studio floor for the wide-open fields surrounding her tranquil artist studio. Her work captures the profound emotions evoked by nature’s beauty — from the calming stillness of misty skies to the dramatic intensity of a stormy sea or the wonder and rapture of a vibrant sunset.

Texture lies at the heart of Helen’s practice. Layered surfaces bring depth and complexity, while her expressive use of color creates movement and emotional energy. Each painting is inspired by nature’s raw beauty and is crafted to evoke deep emotion and foster a meaningful connection with the viewer. With so many layers and open interpretations, her works offer a quiet invitation to pause, reflect, and feel.
